I love taking pictures of flowers. I was at a local nature area and this beautiful lily was waiting there for me to take its picture
the flower is a good subject but your lighting is spectacular. Did you use flash?

The middle part of the flower reminds me of some sea creature. I like the flower, it makes me want to go outdoors and take more pictures. Too bad I'm really busy to do that :(

It's hard to get a sense of perspective on this. The flower seems to be floating alone in the void.

I took this one a while ago, so I do not rember exactly how I lit it. I know I did not use a flash and that I did use the photo editing capability in iPhoto to darken it slightly.
